Since 1980, Józefa has dedicated herself to empowering professionals through training and development. Beginning in the cosmetics industry, she went on to gain expertise in retail, customer service, recruitment, and the NHS. In 2002, Józefa leveraged this experience to found a boutique training consultancy focused on being a trusted advisor to companies seeking to develop their people.  Building on this strong foundation, Józefa saw an opportunity to have an even greater impact. Now as the founder and principal consultant of Józefa Fawcett International (JFI), she provides research, guidance, and hands-on support to help individuals and organisations:

  • Prepare workers for the future blending learning technology with human insight
  • Cultivate empathic leaders who create engaged and empowered hybrid teams
  • Embed cultures of quality, excellence and continuous growth

At the heart of Józefa’s work is the belief that with the right support, every person working in an organisation has immense potential. She brings global expertise listening carefully to what is needed so as to produce customised learning solutions. The goal is always to equip clients with the capability to craft their own sustainable transformation paths towards purposeful innovation and human-centred success.

Guiding professionals at all levels to realise their leadership potential and foster cultures of learning, she has trained, coached, and mentored operational managers, HR experts, and L&D leaders across industries.

As an independent researcher and podcaster Józefa provides inspiration and insights into advancing open education globally. Aligned with UN Sustainable Development Goal #4 and UNESCO OER principles, she advocates for equitable access for all.

Józefa has EU project experience as project partner in European Commission-funded programmes:

Leonardo da Vinci supporting vocational education and training (up to 2010)

Grundtvig aimed at helping adults improve their employability prospects (up to 2013)

Erasmus promoting closer cooperation between universities and higher education for cross-border student exchange (up to 2014)

Erasmus+ fostering transnational cooperation for innovation and exchange of good practices and mobility in education, training, youth and sport in Europe and beyond into ‘non-associated third / partner countries’ (2014 – now)
